This page explains how to delete your SellBuy Autos account and associated personal data. SellBuy Autos is the mobile app and website operated by Denys Vasylevskyi (CEIDG, Kraków, Poland; NIP 6772486974). The same product appears on Google Play as SellBuy Autos (package autos.sellbuy.app).

How to request account deletion

Use either method below. In-app deletion is usually completed immediately.

Option A — In the app or website (recommended)

Open SellBuy Autos (app or sellbuy.autos) and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Account → Settings (open Settings). If you are signed out, use Sign in first.
Scroll to Delete account and tap Request account deletion (or Delete).
Confirm the prompt. Your account sign-in will be removed and associated data deleted as described below.

Option B — By email

Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account.
Use subject line SellBuy Autos account deletion request and include the email, phone, or Telegram username on the account (so we can verify ownership).
We process email requests within 30 days and reply when deletion is complete.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

Account & profile — sign-in identity, display name, username, language/currency preferences, contact details you saved (phone, messengers), and Telegram linkage.
Listings & media — your vehicle listings, photos, and related car records owned by your account.
Marketplace activity — favorites, saved searches/alerts, push notification tokens, in-app notifications, and messaging threads you participate in (including messages in those threads).
App preferences — device push registrations and similar account-scoped settings.

Data that may be kept (and for how long)

Billing & tax records — invoices, subscription status history, and Stripe customer/payment references needed for accounting and tax compliance. Retained for up to 5 years under applicable Polish accounting and tax law, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required.
Payment processor data — card details and full payment history are held by Stripe as an independent controller, under Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We never store full card numbers.
Security & abuse logs — limited technical logs (for example report/moderation or fraud signals) may be retained up to 12 months where needed to investigate abuse or secure the service, then deleted or anonymized.
Aggregated analytics — non-identifying aggregate statistics may be kept indefinitely (they cannot reasonably identify you).

Additional notes

Deletion is permanent. Export a copy of your data first from Account → Settings → Export my data if you need it.
Moderator and admin staff accounts cannot self-delete in the app; contact [email protected] instead.
